“Okay, are you sure? I don’t want to be an inconvenience.”
Looking her sternly in the eyes, I cock a brow. “If you were one, I would’ve told you, now c’mon, I’ll walk you upstairs and get you settled before I go get my stuff done.”
Scarlett ends up giving in and doesn’t put up a fight. I walk her upstairs, show her around my minimalist room, and shut the door firmly behind me. The automatic lock clicks the second it shuts and I left on the note that if she needed me she could call me, and gave her a warning to not leave my room unless I’m there with her. I don’t trust Shadow around her, then again, I don’t trust Shadow either.
As I hit the bottom of the stairs I look over to Bongo. “I need you to take me somewhere, now,” I grit, balling my fists at my sides.
Bongo smiles like the bastard he is. “Lemme guess, we gonna pay the fuck who busted her up a visit?”
“We sure are, and we’re gonna make sure he feels very badly for what he’s done,” I promise, standing behind my words one-hundred percent.
“Hell yeah.” Bongo is the class clown so to speak, but everyone here knows about the shit that’s gone down in his past. Out of everyone in the club, he’s got the most fucked up history and has seen far too much bloodshed.
The door to the clubhouse opens and Steel comes walking right in. There’s only one other person in this club who loves fucking up men who put their hands on a woman, and it’s him. “Wanna take a ride with us, brother?” I ask him, and he cocks a brow.
“What for?” Steel questions.
Bongo has no problem walking up behind him, throwing an arm around Steel’s shoulders and leads him toward the door. “Tiny-dick prick hurt the woman Filthy’s got his eye on, so we’re gonna go deal with that.”
“And we’re gonna get her shit from his place,” I correct him as we walk through the front door.
Steel stops in his tracks and turns back to look at me. “He fuckin’ around, or you really got a woman?”
“I don’t have her yet, brother, but with any luck I will.”
